The P322W 4 x 6 Lightweight Wireless Photo Printer from HiTi is an ultra-compact printer that works in combination with a mobile app or computer software. It prints 4 x 6 color passport photos in your choice of a glossy or matte finish. The emulation for the finish type is selectable via the printer settings and isn t dependent on the paper you use. A single photo is printed in 47 seconds. The printer uses a dye sublimation print method to produce natural colors and skin tones at 300 dpi resolution.
The included HiTi Prinbiz iOS/Android mobile app allows you to customize the size and layout of your prints. You can print several ID and passport sizes in one picture. The app supports worldwide passport sizes and formats. The app also lets you edit your photos by adding frames, filters, collages, and calendars. The Windows-compatible IDQuickDesiree software is also included and can be used instead of the mobile app. Both the app and software are provided as free downloads. To use the printer with a Mac, you can use any optional Mac passport software. Also, a memory card reader or USB flash drive can be connected to the USB Type-A port on the side of the printer and managed through your computer.
The printer doesn t come with a print ribbon or paper. Supported ribbon/paper kits include the HiTi model # 87.P1424.04XT single-pack kit, which consists of one print ribbon and 60 paper sheets, or the 87.P1423.15XT 12-pack that features 12 ribbons and 720 sheets.
