While not as fast as certain other WorkForce models, the Epson WorkForce WF-2930 offers one of the highest print resolutions from the series. It prints in up to 5760 x 1440 dpi resolution at speeds up to 10 ppm in black and 5 ppm in color. Auto two-sided print speeds average about 6 ppm in black and 4 ppm in color. Like the other models, the WF-2930 is designed as a compact, pro-quality home office printer. Like most of the others, it features print, scan, copy, and fax functions. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi for wireless commands and USB for connecting directly to your computer.
The WorkForce WF-2930 has a 100-sheet paper tray that supports letter, legal, and other paper sizes. This tray alternatively supports 20 sheets of photo paper. The output capacity is 30 standard or 20 photo sheets of paper. The printer also has an automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning and copying. The ADF holds 30 letter-size or 10 legal-size sheets. The scan and copy functions also work from the flatbed of the printer.
The built-in Wi-Fi allows print commands to wirelessly be launched from the Epson Smart Panel app (iOS/Android), Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and other apps/services. With an optional Epson Connect account and voice-activated account registration, print commands can also be triggered from Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.
