The rugged & portable from Dahle is rated at the highest level of shredding security P7 and meets the National Security Agency's specifications for secure disposal of top-secret documents by military, federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as by department of defense contractors. With a capacity of up to six sheets per pass, this shredder reduces paper into 0.04 x 0.18" cross-cut particles in conformance with security level P-7 standards. The opening is 9.5" wide and accommodates both letter- and legal-size sheets. The shredder engages automatically when paper is inserted into the feed opening and stops once the paper has passed completely through the shredding mechanism. For safety and convenience, the shredder shuts off automatically when the waste drawer is full.
