The LaserJet MFP M234dw supports black HP cartridges. A toner replacement service is available from HP that will deliver a new cartridge to you before your current one runs out. The included cartridge will print approximately 700 pages. This LaserJet is also energy-efficient, using up to 20% less energy than the previous model. It also offers an auto on/off function that can be set up to further minimize energy use.
This printer is designed to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip.
