Epson T760 Photo Black Ultrachrome HD Ink Cartridge

The Epson P-600 is a great workhorse printer, and we have been using it for years. I love the high capacity cartridges. I get so many prints out of a single cartridge.

Printer produced white streaks from the time of purchase. Epson support recommended new ink at every stage citing banding even though that seemed unlikely while I pleaded that some element or guide was scoring the ink, but was assured otherwise. Product drifted out of warranty during pandemic complications while trying to diagnose the issue and it has never printed a photo without white streaks. Several hundred dollars and now years wasted on the wrong solutions such as ink, paper, and cleaning products on top of the original purchase price of the printer. Epson's official position remains that it was indeed a lemon... but since it's out of warranty, it's my problem to solve out of pocket after they recommended so many wrong, costly answers by site, email, and phone support. So be it, here's my review in response; I was not interested in a 15% discount on my next failed product. I typically prefer refurbished or used- but wanted the assurance of a new product from a reputable seller and this has been a terrible experience. Bought a used Canon for 20 from a Goodwill- put in fresh ink and it worked fine. Epson produced a faulty product and I'd recommend sticking with Canon or another company that works or wishes their customers to be satisfied instead of offering hollow sympathy and no solution. Tremendous waste of time, money, and emotion.
