Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique II (17' x 50' Roll)

Paper colors are great, but most prints (especially large ones) exhibit a buckling in areas where ink is applied when following all settings and configurations from canson on an Epson P900. I've wasted weeks, expensive ink,, and lots of expensive paper trying to find settings that prevent this. Reached out to Canson support with no response. Will only buy Epson paper from now on, this was just a waste if money.

I've just started printing with the Photographique II paper and must say it is now my favorite paper. The surface has a beautiful sheen with the slightest texture you can see with sidelight. While I haven't done any technical testing of the paper, the blacks are rich and the color seems slightly more vibrant than some other papers I have used. I use a color-managed process (much like any good printer would do) and I find it comes closer to matching my NEC monitor than anything else I've used thus far (Exhibition Fiber, Innova Fibaprint, Museo, etc. - though these are excellent papers YMMV). I due like Hahnemule Photorag, and highly recommend that as well if you like a more stippled surface. Personally, I prefer the smoother surface or Phgoitographique but may love the Hahnemuhle paper. Whichever you choose, be sure to stick with it for a while to learn what it can and cannot do. I'm still at the beginning of my exploration of the Canson offering, but so far in love.

Used Canson Baryta II for the first time - I was regular user of original Canson Baryta Photographique. Good coloration, nice paper feel and good, almost super smooth surface. I like it so far.
