Savage Green Screen Software Kit

I'm an amateur and hobbyist photographer for several years. I use a Canon 70D and beginner strobes and umbrellas (so I'm not a pro by any means). For a few years I've been supporting my childrens' elementary school in their annual fundraiser by offering a photo booth. I decided this year (Dec 2019) to offer a green screen, so I bought a basic green screen and stand setup. I bought some holiday themed digital backgrounds depicting a winter wonderland (the theme of the event), and created some overlay text messages using Photoshop. I spent quite a bit of time practicing with my setup and the SW prior to the event, so I could work with it quickly. In summary, the Green Screen Software Kit was fantastic! Its ability to isolate the subject from the green background was amazing. The parents and kids loved it and had so much fun, and I was inundated with people (more than I've ever had before). The SW has almost every option you would want, and the ability to tune the processing saves so much time (like removing darkened shadow areas of the screen, clipping the sides, and blending). I know this isn't the perfect SW for live photo booth event photography, but for my purposes and the price, it was fine. I loved the ability to overlay 3 layers sandwiched among the foreground and background images. Would be nice to adjust the position of the built-in Text layer, and use additional Fonts, but it was adequate as I created my own separate layers in Photoshop. And no, the included background and overlay images may not be useful for you (except for the mock magazine covers); but you most likely want to purchase backgrounds and overlays best suited for your purpose/theme/message anyway. Definitely recommend the SW for photographers who need a quick and efficient method of removing your subjects from both green and blue chrome key backgrounds. The SW also allows you to create transparent layered PNG files of our subjects alone without a background; which is nice for importing into PhotoShop for more advanced work.
