Elvid Remote Control Monitor Bracket

I used to set my Blackpearl monitor on my Phantom 2 controller. It fits and works fine for me. No need to have detailed assembly instructions just seeing the product pictures in this product post should be enough to figure that out. What I should improve is the use of an adjusting screw to tight the monitor base... you need to have an allen wrench all the time to tighten it, I already replaced it and I adjust it by hand... Good product, it works fine for me!!!..

Using this on a DJI Phantom 2 controller, I found it a little bit of a fiddle to install - requiring three different Allen keys (3mm, 2.5mm and 1.5mm) which EVERY boy should have in his tool kit. In the same way, every boy should know how to use those keys and, using his eyes (his primary source of knowledge which solve 80% of all mechanical problems) should be able to install this so it works. It's very adaptable and, with the inner hole suitable for mounting this on a DJI controller, it provides adequate room for fingers - I mean, the last time I looked, the controls operate via fingers, not fists - and no, fists are not going to fit, but fingers do. If this is not deemed spacious enough, perhaps the pilots concerned should stick to something which requires whole hands: like digging in the garden or turning on taps. One does not need a wrench - just a bit of simple DIY fun and... think, when you get it right, you'll really impress the neighbours, the wife, the kids, the dogs and, of course, yourself. In addition, attach a monitor like the FlySight Black Pearl which is light enough and excellent enough (wih a compact battery) for FPV use. Of course an 8 television set with huge battery is going to be a problem, but then that has no place in an environment where a smaller monitor is all that is needed. Big may be better in the bedroom, but it's unnecessary here. At ..it's money well, and intelligently, spent. It works very well for me.

Like others said, the mount is flimsy, screw doesn't tighten enough to hold your monitor in position, and once mounted doesn't give you enough free space to manage your controls. Save your . and spend them on a better mount. Ask the staff for recommendations. I have had better luck carrying this in one hand while in motion and mounting my monitor on a nearby table or friend's hands than using this one. In other words, no mount is better than this mount.

Its hard to change position and control the screws when the LCD is attached. Disturb the drone controls. The LCD doesnt stay firmly fix in the mount.

Needs Allen Wrench that doesn't come with it. Kind of flimsy. Not too impressed with it. Came free with an external monitor, so I'm happy I didn't pay for it. Wish it was better. And probably won't use it.

I am using to mount a Samsung T-350 on a Phantom III Standard Remote Controller. It does a great job of positioning the monitor above the controller. Be prepared to re tighten the set screws often. Be sure you have all three sizes of hex wrench required to adjust the bracket.
