By sufficiently blocking the artificial light caused by street lamps and similar light sources, this filter helps you capture more accurate colors and clearer differences between the various colors in the environment.
Artificial sources generally add a lot of orange and yellowish colors into the nighttime environment, and these can prevent you from capturing the vivid colors of skies, stars, tree leaves, and other objects. This filter helps clear out the orange/yellowish colors. At the same time, it lets you capture clearer colors of building and streetcar lights. Even though these are also technically artificial lights, you ll be able to capture better reds, blues, greens, and other colors coming from them. The filter features optical glass and has 16 layers of coating to allow for optimal image quality.
