Intel F8P-PL Overview
The Inspection Payload for Falcon 8+ Octacopter consists of two cameras mounted in parallel: a Panasonic ZS50 RGB camera and a FLIR Tau 2 640 thermal camera. When flying a single inspection mission, the dual cameras can capture both visual and thermal images in hybrid RGB + 14-bit raw. The data recorded includes the relevant position, orientation, and time stamp. It can also provide a real-time RGB and thermal video feed.

Path Planning
Create an exact reproduction of aerial images. Using several photo positions and camera orientation, save single waypoints or complex paths with multiple waypoints to repeat the flight.
Payload Functions
Engage payload functions, such as Circle of Interest (COI), which generates a circular waypoint flight for the systematic capturing of images around the Point of Interest (POI) that you set.
ICC
Independent Camera Control (ICC) allows for a second operator to fully control the payload's orientation and pitch angle.
