It automatically switches between phases, enabling charging at times of low solar power for cost-effective mobility, higher PV self-consumption and faster amortisation of the PV system. By utilising both grid power and PV power, the SMA eCharger charges vehicles twice as fast as conventional wallboxes while complying with normative requirements. The SMA eMobility Portal offers quick and easy user management, visualisation of charging power, usage times and utilisation. Automatic updates also keep the SMA eCharger up-to-date and future-proof.
