With the SMA EV Charger Business, compliant with calibration regulations, SMA offers another component of the SMA Energy System Business. The EV Charger Business offers two charging points, allowing charging parks to be quickly implemented. Thanks to RFID and OCPP, the device can be flexibly integrated into various systems and is therefore suitable for both new and existing photovoltaic systems.
The SMA EV Charger Business, compliant with calibration regulations, enables the charging process to be recorded and processed in accordance with the requirements of the German Measurement and Calibration Act. Conformity with calibration regulations is required in Germany where
- charging electricity is to be billed to third parties (e.g. employees),
- charging points are operated with public access or
- roaming (billing via charging cards, in conjunction with the SMA eMobility Portal) is to be offered.
