Fronius Symo GEN24 6.0 – the upgradable PV inverter
The Fronius GEN24 can be upgraded to a Fronius GEN24 Plus by purchasing a software update on Fronius Solarweb.
As of January 1, 2023, buying a warranty extension will only be possible directly via the Fronius Solarweb webshop.
Fronius expands its product portfolio with the GEN24 series. This PV inverter can be subsequently converted into a hybrid inverter via a software update. The GEN24 series comes with an integrated basic emergency power function right from the start. This means that in the event of a power failure during the day when the sun is shining, consumers of up to 3 kW can continue to be supplied. If a home storage system is to be added to the PV system, the Fronius UP.storage can be purchased from Fronius Solarweb. The battery input of the GEN24 is activated and the GEN24 becomes a GEN24 Plus.
