The newly developed SMA Sunny Boy 5 inverter enables faster installation and at the same time simple commissioning, thanks to the new web interface. Connection to the Internet is via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. This latest web-based interface allows configuration via smartphone or laptop. The 70%-regulation required in Germany or even the 0%-regulation is ensured with the installation of the SMA Energy Meter or SMA Home Manager 2.0 through direct communication.
The SMA inverter weighs only 17.5 kg and is consequently a lightweight.
