The SMA hybrid inverter has an integrated switching device for backup power. Selected loads can be connected to the backup power output, which are supplied with backup power in the event of a grid failure. You can use the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 to connect the system intelligently to a heat pump or wallbox. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 also enables forecast-based charging and discharging of the battery. This means that the 70% feed-in rule can be elegantly implemented by not fully charging the storage system in the morning but only during the midday peak. The usable storage capacity for this storage package can be extended to 12.8 kWh.
