LD Systems MAUI 44 G2 3000W 15' Column Array Speaker with DSP and Bluetooth

The system consists of a powered 15 subwoofer module that powers two vertical array column speakers with 12 total mid-high drivers and four tweeters, which connect directly to the subwoofer via custom steel pins. This simple design requires no additional speaker cables or stands. The subwoofer module features LECC DSP, which provides limiting, equalization, crossover, and compression to help working presenters, musicians, instructors, performers, and A/V providers get powerful, clean, and clear sound quickly.

The speaker provides 120 x 25° (H x V) coverage and 132 dB peak SPL-plenty of volume for smaller- to mid-sized venues including houses of worship, conference centers, performance spaces, meeting rooms, bars, and small clubs. The highly efficient 3000W (peak) Class-D amplifier drives the array s mid-high drivers and the single 15 subwoofer, providing crisp, detailed sound with a wide frequency range from 20 kHz down to 37 Hz.

The rear panel features a main level knob to control the overall volume and a dedicated subwoofer level knob, which sets the volume of the subwoofer relative to the satellite speakers. There are two dedicated buttons for connecting and configuring Bluetooth. The Hold to Link button connects the speaker to any Bluetooth compatible devices, such as a smartphone or tablet, while the TWS Stereo Link is used for stereo Bluetooth streaming when using two MAUI 44 G2 speakers.

For I/O, the rear panel offers two balanced combo XLR-1/4 (L/R) line inputs and two XLR Thru-outputs for daisy-chaining to additional speakers or other audio equipment. A dedicated XLR subwoofer output is designed for the MAUI 44 G2 SE subwoofer extension (separately sold), which adds another 15 powered subwoofer for added impact.

When using the separately sold MAUI 44 G2 SUB subwoofer extension, the Cardioid button sets the DSP for subwoofer cardioid array performance, which helps direct the bass frequencies forward, while lowering the bass behind the speaker setup for better stage performance. For a wired, true stereo L/R operation, two MAUI 44 G2 systems are needed with each to receive independent the left and right signals respectively. The MAUI 44 G2 includes a power cord.
