The connector features an all-metal housing, giving it a current rating of 30A RMS per contact. Its sealing ring offers an IP54 rating in its mated state, making it virtually weatherproof. Its quick-lock system is fashioned out of reinforced metal for precision in the mating process, while its large solder contacts are compatible with wires up to 10 AWG.
speakON is not to be used as an AC mains or power supply connector.
