The Kopul XLR4F-RJ45 4-Channel XLR-Male to RJ45 Passive Network Cable Extender is a durable and low-profile device that can be used for long cable runs in recording studios, concert halls, theaters, and houses of worship. It enables you to send four channels of balanced, Mic/Line analog audio and AES/EBU digital audio signals or DMX signals over long distances (up to hundreds of feet) over a single Cat 5, 5e, 6, or 7 EtherCON cable (available separately). The extender offers a cost-effective solution because it replaces bulky and expensive XLR snakes.

Whether you're connecting microphones to a back-of-house mixing console, digital audio to a computer, or running lights from a DMX controller, the XLR4F-RJ45 will preserve the quality of your audio/DMX, sending clean and interference-free signals to your sound boards, PA systems, multitrack recorders, and DMX-equipped lights. Extends an Analog/Digital Audio or DMX Network

• Transmit four channels of analog or AES/EBU digital audio or DMX signals to recorders, mixing boards, PA systems, and DMX controllers over a single RJ45 cable, even if they're hundreds of feet away.
• The XLR4F-RJ45 is compatible with Cat 5, 5e, 6, and 7 cables

Passive Design

• The XLR4F-RJ45 doesn't require a power source. Just insert it in line with your microphones or DMX-equipped lights, and it transmits a clean signal without interference or coloration.

Supports 48V Phantom Power

• The XLR4F-RJ45 supports 48V phantom power for studio applications. You can operate your studio condenser microphones with phantom power from your mixing board and transmit the mic signal between rooms or studios over the RJ45 cable.
• Condenser microphones can receive phantom power only over shielded Cat 6 or Cat 7 Ethernet cables.

Four XLR-Female Connectors

• Gold-plated XLR-female connectors offer superb signal transfer and corrosion resistance a plus if you're transporting the XLR4F-RJ45 to live shows and concerts.
