LightPix Labs FlashQ Trigger T2 Kit (Black)

I have an occasional need for a speed light and thought that the flash triggers with enable me to use the two speed lights that I already own. I did not want to invest in another flash to match my new camera so if figured these triggers would serve my needs. I don't need TTL and I am comfortable using the flashes manually. The problem is the FlashQ Trigger fire my lights less then 50% of the time. I have made sure that the transmitter is mounted correctly on the hot shoe and the receivers are properly mounted on the flashes. I have fresh batteries in the flashes. I have also re-paired the transmitter with the receivers numerous times and no improvement. I thought about returning them for a refund, but considering the low price and small size I figured could make do and work around the inconsistent performance. But, I would not recommend the LightPix to anyone who requires a fast, dependable wireless flash trigger. In my experience these units are not dependable.
