It allows the user to mount a standard speedlite using the hot shoe on the receiver. Its built-in PC outlet accepts flash units that do not have a hot shoe. The receiver can mount to your flash unit on a tripod or light stand with a 1/4 -20 threaded mount, or onto an accessory shoe. The receiver s versatile design features a holder for standard umbrellas, and it has a tilt feature so you can bounce your flash/umbrella combination.
