Weighing in at only 3.5 lb including its optional battery, the Ion measures only 7.5 x 4.4 x 3.3 but is able to deliver hundreds or even thousands of full power flashes depending on the flash head in use. For example, Photogenic s 1,000W/s PL1000DR gets 300 full power flashes on a fully charged battery while their AKC160 will get a whopping 2,050 flashes from the same battery.
