K 5600 Lighting Joker2 400W Kit

The Joker2 400W Kit from K 5600 Lighting is built around a Joker2 400W Head with a 400W HMI lamp. The included optical beamer mounts on the front of your Joker2 and gives you the ability to use the provided medium, wide, super wide, and frosted Fresnel lenses to get a soft source with varying degree patterns. The head is powered by the included fully dimmable ballast. The ballast is high-speed with 300 and 1000 Hz frequencies, and offers built-in wireless DMX control via LumenRadio, allowing for control using a smartphone or tablet.

Further accessories included in the kit are a 25` head feeder extension cable, which will come in handy whenever you want to boom your Joker2 or put it in a hard-to-reach place, and a frosted glass beaker, which can be used instead of the clear glass beaker to get a nice diffused soft effect right at the source. Also provided are full double and single scrims, a four-leaf barndoor, a lens bag, and a carrying case.

K 5600 Lighting Joker2 400W Head with Cable

The Joker2 400 with Cable from K 5600 Lighting is a 400W controllable light source designed for use on film, television, and still sets. Featuring a threaded screw-on ring, the Joker2 400 allows for quick and tool-less relamping between separately available 3200K and 5600K HMI lamps. The threaded ring also allows you to mount a clear or frosted borosilicate beaker around the lens (beakers and lenses available separately). Additionally, the head incorporates a plug-in igniter designed to convert from HMI to 2K tungsten in less than a minute.

The Joker2 has an integrated three-axis yoke for flexible placement, and a braking system that ensures the system can support larger light shapers such as light banks, ellipsoid spots, and Softubes. For power, the head uses a separately available fully dimmable ballast. The ballast is high-speed with 300 and 1000 Hz frequencies, and offers built-in wireless DMX control via LumenRadio, allowing for control using a smartphone or tablet.

The K5600 C0900U 25` Extension Cable connects the Joker 200, 400, 800 integral light head cable to a ballast. It is a VEAM type, with quarter-turn lock. The C0900U cable is also compatible with the Blackjack 400 head.

Full scrims dim the light across the entire beam spread, and 1/2 and graduated scrims are used to even the beam spread when lighting a subject or background from an angle.

Keep several densities of scrims available to be prepared for any lighting situation.

Placed in the light`s accessory channel, the Full Single Scrim for Joker Bug 400W from K5600 subtracts a 1/2 stop of light from the Joker`s output without moving the light further away to reduce light intensity.

These K5600 4-Leaf Barndoors for Joker 400 have four leaves that can be adjusted. Barndoors attach to the front of a light and are used to restrict light from areas of a set.

The Frosted Beaker is used on the Joker-Bug 400 with accessories such as lanterns where the point source is not desirable. It also helps clean up Par lens aberrations, as well as soften the harsh spot achieved without a lens.

This glass filter comes standard with all Joker-Bug 400 Fixtures. Its purpose is to protect the HMI bulb. It also acts as a UV Filter, slightly warming the color temperature.
