CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable LED Fresnel 2-Light Kit

Maybe I'm just unlucky. But I'm on my 3rd set already. We use these for weddings and they're great and easy to control with solid power and intensity. We power them off the Came-TV d-tap v-mount batteries. First light had a buzzing noise and the wifi port was loose. Exchanged with a new light sent from the US facility through came-tv's support in china. Then one day one of our lights blew (a loud POP!) as soon as we plugged it in to the battery. It was turned OFF at the time. I sent that one back again. Took about a week of back and forth. Support is nice, but on China time so it's hard to go back and forth. Now last night the new light started turning on and off during a toast. It was the back light so it was facing everyone. Pretty embarrassing. I checked and the battery (Came-TV 130 vmount) was still at 50% capacity. We ended up walking up and killing the light and pulling it away. It was the least embarrassing way to deal with it because it was so distracting. I know these lights will blink when low on battery, but this wasn't. It had been on for a while working just fine before it started doing this. Later on we hooked up the light again on the side just to test and the issue did not persist. Frustrating. Now I'm totally nervous about this happening again at another important event/venue. Power/Intensity = 5 stars Reliability = 2 stars Other than that I wish the light controls were on the bottom of the light, or they had a remote control option that could stay on the light stand. Yes, they have wifi, but sometimes that's a pain when you don't have time to set it all up or don't have a device nearby to make the adjustments. I also wish the lowest setting was dimmer than it is. It's basically like 20% to 100% fader. It might read 0% to 100% on the LED display, but the lowest setting is pretty bright. The case for 2 lights is pointless because you need to detach the yolk to fit it. I just used a different case. So my rating is just okay mostly because of it's questionable reliability. If this improves I'll come back and improve the rating, but right now I'm two months in, about 8 weddings, and already 2 replacements. Ugh.
