Godox LR120 Bi-Color LED Ring Light (12', Black)

This Godox LR120 is a very good ring light for the price and perfect for my work-from-home video conferencing. It features 8 brightness settings and 6 tone settings (daylight to warm), along with 180 degrees of tilt. The USB-A power cord is 6 feet long. You need to have or buy the proper USB-A 5V-2A AC adapter (must be 5V-2A or 2.4A) to plug the power cord into a household wall outlet. I could not power the light from the USB-A port on my 27 Dell monitor. In the middle of the power cord are push-button controls for on/off, tone and brightness. This light -- as sells it -- does not come with a stand. You need to have or buy a stand with a 5/8 or smaller post diameter at the top. The light's base adapter for the stand post is NOT threaded -- you insert the top of the stand into the light's base adapter and tighten with the knob on the adapter. I bought a Vivitar tabletop stand that works fine. You can find this Godox LR120 light equipped with a stand, but with mixed reviews on the stand quality.

It is prefect for Video mtgs. The ability to color balance keeps you from looking orange, ect. Was surprised it plugged into my USB for power but no problems. Being a photographer, I have many lightstands so being about to buy a ring light without a stand was ideal.

I love this light. Both brightness and color tone are adjustable so I can make it illuminate just the way I want. The only thing is it does not come with a stand and when I ordered it wasn't clear that I would need one. I now have one and am very happy with the setup.

nice light. the 1/4-20 thread the manual refers to is for the flexible phone holder. happened to have some old Smith-Victor light stands that solved stand issue. to tighten tilt one must really crank on the knob. they manufactured pivot with too much space. the thrust faces have internal knurls so perhaps sone teflon faucet packing would help. a little thing, though enough for only 4 stars.

The box does not includes anything to use this on a desk or any plain surface, basically you need to somehow get an accessory just for this, after I realized that I checked in Amazon and the price is the same and the support is included.
