FotodioX Ultra 50 Overview

Offering color control, dimming, beam angle, and power options, the Pro PopSpot High Intensity Ultra 50 Bi-Color LED Light Kit from FotodioX is built around a fixture with a focusable lens that offers adjustments from a wide 60° flood beam to a 30° spot for selective lighting or sharp-shadowed sunlight effects. The beam angle can be further tweaked with the included 4-way barndoors that allow you to illuminate areas you want while keeping light from areas that you don`t. Color is variable from 3200 to 5600K to match other fixtures, ambient light challenges, or just for creative expression. The light`s high CRI/TLCI rating of 95/96 illustrates accuracy in color rendition. Demonstrating economy of power, the Ultra 50 draws just 50W of current while outputting many times that number with negligible heat, allowing you to squeeze it into places where traditional fixtures can`t go, or to place it close to the talent without discomfort. The light is dimmable from 10 to 100% and maintains full power throughout the color range.

Powering the Ultra 50 offers more options. The light is ready for worldwide use via the kit`s multi-voltage power supply, but it can also run on the two included NP-F750 batteries when mains power is unavailable. The batteries will give you 90 minutes of runtime on a full charge. FotodioX includes a dual battery charger and a bag for storage and transport.

Daylight/Tungsten Balanced and Dimmable

The PopSpot Ultra 50 Bi-Color is dimmable from 10-100% power and is adjustable from daylight through tungsten color balance at 3200-5600K while maintaining a CRI of 95 and a TLCI rating 96, providing accurate color rendition.

Four-Way Barndoors

The included 4-way barndoors help you illuminate areas that you want while keeping light from areas that you don`t. In addition, the PopSpot Ultra 50 features a Profoto-style accessory mount, allowing you to use your favorite light modifiers such as reflectors, snoots, and softboxes.

Often bi-color means half-power, but that`s not so with the PopSpot Ultra. The light features one daylight (5600K) balanced 50W COB LED and one 50W tungsten (3200K) balanced COB LED, providing full power throughout the color range.

The PopSpot Ultra 50 can be powered by standard AC current or via batteries making it suitable for studio or location work. Thanks to its multi-voltage power adapter (100-240 VAC), the PopSpot Ultra 50 is ready for worldwide use; all you`ll need is an inexpensive travel power adapter.
