Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Mini Overview

This FreeStyle Air Mini RGB LED Light Panel DMX System Universal Travel Kit from Kino Flo is a handy way to store and transport your lighting kit. It features a convenient soft case, a compact 21 x 13 x 2" FreeStyle Air Mini fixture, and a compatible 140 LED DMX controller. To give you the softest output, a dedicated SnapBox is included as well. The kit is also packed with the KinoGrip K41 mount with baby receiver and a 25` head extension cable.

Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Mini RGB LED Light Panel

Featuring a slim and lightweight profile, the FreeStyle Air Mini RGB LED Light Panel from Kino Flo is a unique "rigid mat" that offers the same Color Science LED technology found in all Kino Flo LEDs. The panel`s Kelvin range is expandable from a warm 2500 to an ice-blue 9900K with advanced color adjustments. When used with a separately available controller, the panel offers extended capabilities such as access to the color menu to work with RGB, a real convenience to employ color wheels or RGB presets. This AC-powered panel allows a wide array of control options, including onboard, app, DMX, and wireless DMX LumenRadio. You can mount this 21 x 13 x 2" flat, hard unit on a separately available stand, but it is lightweight enough to be handheld.

Full RGB Control & Output

The FreeStyle Air Mini outputs up to 1970 lux at 3.3` (6500K). A separately purchased controller is required to handle different features: RGB, presets and gels, FX, and many others. In FX mode, you are provided access to effects to simulate lighting scenarios. Hue and saturation adjustments are possible as well.

Green-Magenta Adjustment

Green-to-magenta shift is available for situations when you need color correction to match other light sources or achieve a specific look.

Control & Power

The unit`s separately available controller has onboard DMX for making adjustments remotely from a console and is also compatible with LumenRadio wireless DMX. The FreeStyle Air Mini also works with the Luminair and other apps with predetermined RGB presets or color wheels. Designed for worldwide use, the fixture runs on 100 to 240 VAC current.

Cooling System

Usable LED life is extended with a passively cooled design that ensures color and luminosity remain stable over time. The panel features a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired if needed.

Multiple Mounting Options

Besides an optional twist-on mount for light stands and corner bumpers that offer additional rigging options, the FreeStyle Air Mini`s eyelets simplify overhead and other surface attachments. The unit can also be handheld with a separately purchased KinoGrip mount.

Kino Flo FreeStyle 140 LED DMX Controller for FreeStyle T44 Bulbs, (120 VAC Cord)

This Kino Flo FreeStyle 140 LED DMX Controller for FreeStyle T44 Bulbs comes with a power cord for running on 120 VAC while controlling and powering up to four T44 LED tubes. The controller features four modes that provide near total control of the output of the LED tubes (LED tubes not included). In white mode, the unit drives LED tubes output light with a color temperature range between 2700 to 6500K. It also enables dimming and green/magenta adjustment. Gels/Hue expands the color temperature range to 2500 to 9900K while providing access to background keying presets and over 100 lighting gel looks.

RGB mode provides access to the individual red, green, and blue LED luminaries for precise control. FX Mode provides customizable presets. The integrated display screen shows dim, Kelvin, green/magenta shift, and the DMX Channel. Four built-in buttons default to four Kelvin presets, but you can customize the settings of the buttons. The built-in control knob lets you set dimming, Kelvin, green/magenta levels and DMX address. The controller supports both wired and wireless DMX, and it accepts worldwide power inputs as well as 18 to 36 VDC.

The controller comes with a Lumen Radio Wireless 120 VAC power cord, but can run off of 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. You can also power the controller vie a 24 VDC battery with 3-pin XLR connector.

Kino Flo SnapBox for FreeStyle Air Mini Panel (23.5 x 15")

This 23.5 x 15" SnapBox from Kino Flo is a soft light modifier specifically designed for the FreeStyle Air Mini Panel. Thanks to the DoPchoice patented self-tightening "Snap" line, this softbox sets up and breaks down in seconds. It goes over the front of the light, attaching via touch-fastening straps to help ensure a tight fit. Kino Flo includes two diffusers to create a softer, flattering quality of light. A carry bag is also supplied for storage and transportation.

Further Control

If you need more light control, just attach an optional SnapGrid onto the SnapBox. You can mount it via touch-fastener attachments.

Kino Flo KinoGrip K41 Twist-On Mount with 5/8" Baby Receiver Short

Make your fixture easier to transport and handle with this KinoGrip K41 Twist-On Mount with 5/8" Baby Receiver Short from Kino Flo. Able to work with fixtures featuring Twist-On mating plates, this mount will add a grip handle for easier maneuvering of the light, as well as a wing knob for making quick adjustments and locking the light in position.

Kino Flo FreeStyle/4 Extension Cable (25`)

The 25` FreeStyle/4 Extension Cable from Kino Flo provides extra distance from the fixture`s controller for options such as hanging the fixture.

Kino Flo Freestyle Air Mini Soft Case (Black)

The black Freestyle Air Mini Soft Case from Kino Flo is an additional bag designed to carry the Freestyle Air Mini Light. It has a zipper closure and two covered top handles for easy carrying.
