Genaray 4-Leaf Barndoors for Bright Beast LED Panel

The Genaray 4-leaf barndoors for the bright beast LED are a great solution to add more control to your lighting setup. The first thing I noticed was that the barndoors are pretty lightweight but still feel sturdy. They should hold up to some abuse. They are powder coated to keep reflections down a bit and they install within seconds. They lock in the top for extra security. I'm actually really impressed with this set in terms of how quickly the pieces and parts are installed. This works with the diffuser which also installs in seconds and is magnetic. Overall, I'm pleased with these and they are pretty hassle-free.

I find barndoors a necessity for lights. They give you control of light spill easily and give you a good way to attach diffusion (or gels) to the light. These barndoors work just as they should. They have good build quality and should last a long time. The materials are all metal and feel strong and durable. The weak point of a barn door is usually in the joints where they attach and open/close. These barn doors joints are well-made, with just the right amount of tension for opening/closing and stay perfectly in place. I've seen no drooping once in place. They stay where you place them which is what you want. I love how easily they come on and off the light and do not need any tools. There's a little slot on the top of the doors where the latch of the light attaches them. This makes them very secure when installed. I have no fear of them coming off when up high or in a dangerous position. I also love how they open very wide, but close up tight when the light is stored. The Bright Beast light comes with a nice travel/storage case and since these doors close so compact, you can keep them on when in the case. I like that because I plan on keeping the barndoors installed. This light also has an optional diffusion panel built for it (which I also recommend) and you can combine the doors with the diffusion easily and leave it built that way. Again, I like having barndoors with my lights and these barndoors work great for this light. I highly recommend getting them for your Bright Beast light.
