The beauty dish also comes with an outer diffusion panel for controlling the sharpness of shadows even further.

The EZ-Pro beauty dish diffuses light to provide high output with moderate feathering and uses a parabolic reflector to focus light towards a wrapped area. It also creates moderate, round catch lights in the eyes. For larger, angular catch lights, use the EZ-Pro configured as a softbox.
