The 54 x 78 Plume Wafer 200 Softbox is known for its smooth quality of light. Three different sailcloths are used for the Wafer diffuser, its baffles, and the interior ellipses. A special aluminum fiberglass cloth around the flash head opening helps to eliminate heat and UV damage.

The more shallow Wafer profile results from using a combination of an aluminum tent tube with a fiberglass fishing rod. Inner baffles, rear closures, and ring adapters are all interchangeable.
The Wafer 200 is an extra large size softbox, and is for family portraits of 4 or 5 people or a setup of 6 or 7 smaller-than-a-breadbox items.
