Westcott Rapid Box Switch Strip Softbox 1 x 4

This is my second rapid box Switch. The switch mechanism on the first one, a beauty dish, is a pain to use, but it works most of the time. This one doesn't work at all. It is simply impossible to move it by hand (which is the whole point of this system). With a pair of decent sized pliers and some pulling back of the nylon material, it is possible to move it, but it is still very difficult. Therefore, I will just mount the adapter and leave it on permanently, which means I have to buy a second adapter to use with my beauty dish. I struggle to figure out how this design could make it into production, let alone pass quality control. I already knew quality control isn't good, because my other one had a button missing on the internal diffuser. I honestly think this needs to be taken off the market and revert to the original non-switchable design. It would save a lot of anger and frustration for Westcott's customers.
