The Adjustable Twin Shoe Umbrella Bracket from Impact is a convenient accessory that allows you to double your flash or LED light s power. The LB-230L s T-Shaped aluminum bar has 2 insulated flash shoes connected to locking knobs that allow lateral movement of each flash along two channels in the bar.
The 5/8 stand mount tilts 180 degrees and has an umbrella receptacle for standard 7-8 mm umbrella shafts. At 15 the LB-230L is long enough for 2 flash units or shoe mount LED lights of approximately 6 in width each. To add additional lights please see Impact# LB-430L which has 4 shoes. The LB-230L can also be attached to a tripod via an included reversible spigot with 1/4 -20 and 3/8-16 female threads.

This is an Impact 32 white satin umbrella with removable black backing. Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a softbox.
Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.
This size is perfect for a 1 - 2 person head shot, or a 2x3 ft product setup.
Backing may be removed half way, providing a unique combination of light bounced from different surfaces.
