The exaggerated depth makes for a narrower beam than a standard umbrella while still retaining some of an umbrella s wrap around qualities but with a defined edge. Additional control can be achieved by fine-tuning the " focus" of the beam by varying the flash head s position along the umbrella s shaft. The 16-rib design, coupled with the reflective white interior, results in a soft, even beam at all head positions. The umbrella features an improved finger-friendly locking mechanism for secure and fast set up and break down.
