CAME-TV Quick Setup Compact Reverse-Folding Light Stand (3-Pack)

I'm very satisfied with these light stands. I was expecting something more fragile and less stable, but they are really practical and secure. It's a worth purchase.

I got this specifically for holding a backup audio recorder (a Zoom H1-n) in front of a PA speaker at various events. Didn't need anything fancy at all. This stand however has proven to be very sturdy for the price. The plastic latches aren't that great, but otherwise it's well designed and is more than up to the task for what I need it for.

I was not expecting much from these stands since the dimensions are very compact and the price is on the lower end. However, upon deploying them, it turns out the build quality and stiffness is very good when taking into account that they are pretty affordable and have many extension sections. Of course don't expect it to hold a huge softbox and studio strobe, but it should definitely handle a small umbrella and speedlight if you don't raise it to the max height. As a side note, the sections and pieces appear to be made of stamped steel, which might be the reason why the stands seem durable and have a hefty feel to them. The reason I note this is because unfortunately they were shipped to me in just the manufacturer boxes w/o any sort of padding (essentially bare in a very thin cardboard box the same exact size as the stand). The boxes were crushed and mangled in transit, but the stands arrived without major damage (just tiny scratches and dents), which speaks to the robustness. Of course customer service corrected the shipping issue without hesitation, so no worries there, just thought I would mention it in case you were wondering how durable they are.
