Astera Baby Pin Double-Ended Spigot

Until owning this my life was awful. Now girls like me, I'm rich and no one throws sand in my face at the beach.

These cost too much and aren't really that durable. I've had to replace several of them because the threading got bent.

I've never had a problem with these spigots. The build quality is great, and they've always held up for me. Not only can you get by with these and have no problems, you should probably buy a few if you have Astera products, regardless of what I say next. My biggest problem with these is that whatever you're going to use it for, there's another pin that does the job better. These fit well into a mafer clamp/super clamp, but there are threaded pins that are built specifically for mafer clamps that do it better. If you want to attach it to a gobo/grip head, you can get just enough grip to make it work, but there are baby pins with a male thread that do the job way better. It's not that these spigots are bad, they're not. You can use them to do A LOT of things and it will do the job just fine. However, these never really feel like the right tool for the job.
