ChamSys Rack Mount Dongle Overview
Unlock your MagicQ PC system from "demo mode" with this Rackmount MagicHD Dongle from ChamSys. When connected to a MagicQ Wing or MagicQ USB Interface (excluding the MagicDMX), MagicQ PC systems are released from "demo mode," fulfilling this role in a compact form factor, which makes the device ideal for installations.
The dongle can unlock all eight layers of MagicHD standalone operation, which is necessary when MagicHD operates independently from a ChamSys console. The dongle also permits the utilization of third-party and virtual MIDI interfaces for inputting MIDI notes into MagicQ. This functionality is not unlocked by other ChamSys PC hardware, such as the PC Wing, Mini Wing, or Dual DMX. It`s important to note that triggering Playbacks via USB MIDI is limited to the first 10 playbacks of MagicQ.
