CAME-TV Boltzen 55W Focusable LED Fresnel 3-Light Kit

Buyer beware. I bought this because it is advertised to be battery powered with small Sony L series batteries and I already had some. Was excited to have a good portable fresnel for outdoor weddings. Got the light, plugged in L series battery and it shorted the battery out! After a small freak out I read the fine print and it said the only L series battery that can power this light is the NP-F975 7.4V battery and I only have a bunch of NP-F970 7.2V! Why didn?t Came-TV make that clear from the beginning??? I live in Hawaii and now I?m screwed because no one has the 7.4V in stock out here or even carries them, and since the laws changed I can?t get any lithium battery shipped out here at all!!! Came-TV should have made it very clear that only a specific L series battery can power this unit....better yet they should have included one in the package or offered that as an option. I would have gladly paid a little extra since lithium batteries are only allowed to be shipped to Hawaii if it is part of a product and in the same box. If any one else falls victim to a shorted out battery because of Came-TV?s lack of info in how it is advertised, I discovered that if you put the shorted out battery back on the charger it will reset the battery and work again for your other equipment. All in all I?m super bummed that I bought a product that I cannot use for the purpose I purchased it for thanks to what I feel was misleading advertising and new government regulations that block the shipment of any lithium batteries to Hawaii. :(
