The kit combines the robust LION Fresnel fixture with its PUNCH bi-color and MIX full-spectrum LED engines. The different types of LED engines are easily swappable to meet your needs. You can also use the included barndoors to further modify the LION's beam.

DMG Lumiere LION Fixture with Yoke & Fresnel Lens (No LED Engine)

Taking LED technology to the next level in terms of flexibility, the innovative LION Fixture with Yoke & Fresnel Lens from DMG Lumiere is crafted for those in need of a versatile and easily adaptable light. The fixture accepts two swappable LED engines to meet different lighting needs. Alter the LION fixture by choosing the optional MIX LED engine for full-spectrum colors or the PUNCH LED engine for a bi-color powerful output. The optional LED engines are designed to quickly swap in and out of the fixture without any tools. Featuring a 13" Fresnel lens, the fixture comes with a yoke and a power cable. The LION's cutting-edge technology replicates the look of a traditional tungsten Fresnel with a range of 15 to 75° to accommodate a variety of effects and coverage. This gives you multiple lighting possibilities from a single fixture, which is useful to illuminate broadcast studios, theatrical stages, and performance venues.

Widest Beam Angle

The large 13" Fresnel lens is one of the features that gives the LION versatility and flexibility. Its motorized zoom offers a wide 75° flood beam that can be focused down to a 15° narrow spot. The LION is soft enough to create flattering light yet hard enough to produce crisp and dramatic (not overly harsh) shadows. The fixture works great whether you need an extra-wide beam spread for lighting large spaces or soft light with a defined shape.

Extended Control Methods

It doesn't matter if you are using onboard controls, DMX, RDM, CRMX, or the myMIX app, the LION can directly control CCT, intensity, and other settings. The fixture's motorized " zoom" can be wirelessly controlled. Advanced Art-Net and sACN protocols are also supported thanks to its RJ45 ports.

Rugged Construction

Constructed with durable materials to stand strong against time and wear, the LION's stackable design is combined with an all-weather housing to resist harsh weather conditions. The fixture is weather-sealed and can handle anything from rainy or snowy locations to a dusty rig hung above a stage.

Swappable LED Engines

Made in France, the LION was engineered to be fully updated as LED technology advances. If future LED engines are developed, users and lighting technicians will be able to simply swap them without replacing the entire fixture. Almost every component of the LION can be replaced, repaired, or updated to conveniently extend its lifetime.

Mains Power Connection

With a maximum power consumption of 1000W, the light works using its included powerCON TRUE1 cable.

Accessories

The LION fixture accepts optional four-leaf barndoors to further control the beam. Other optional accessories include scrims, gel frames, and speed ring adapters. A robust rolling flight case is also available separately.

DMG Lumiere MIX LED Engine

Part of DMG Lumiere's versatile LION system, the MIX LED Engine easily turns your LION Fresnel into a powerful full-spectrum fixture. When outfitted with the separately available DMG LION, the MIX produces bright and vibrant colors. Switch from a warm 1700K to a cool 10,000K color temperature or anywhere in between.

Maximum Intensity

The MIX LED engine provides a high level of output with a peak intensity of 20,000 lux at 9.8' (spot beam at 5600K).

Patented Six-Chip MIX Technology

Thanks to DMG's proprietary six-chip color mixing of red, green, blue, lime, amber, and white LEDs, the MIX gives you access to a myriad of custom colors.

Multiple Modes

DMG Lumiere PUNCH LED Engine

Part of DMG Lumiere's versatile LION system, the PUNCH LED Engine easily turns your LION Fresnel into a powerful bi-color fixture. When outfitted with the separately available DMG LION, the PUNCH is able to produce the same high output as a 5K tungsten Fresnel. Switch from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K color temperature or anywhere in between.

Maximum Intensity

The PUNCH LED engine provides a high level of output with a peak intensity of 36,000 lux at 9.8' (spot beam at 5600K).

Green/Magenta Adjustment

Employing red and lime LED chips from the brand's MIX technology, the PUNCH also gives you green and magenta control for color correction.

DMG Lumiere LION 4-Leaf Barndoors

The LION 4-Leaf Barndoors from DMG Lumiere fit the LION LED Fresnel and modify its light. Featuring an integrated spill ring, the 4-way barndoor design allows for one to four of the leaves to be swung into the light's beam to control light spill and concentrate the beam angle.
