The first thing you ll notice is its unusual convex, curved shape. The design gives the light an outstanding 180-degree output of diffused, single-shadow illumination that yields greater coverage with fewer fixtures on location. The Radius2 has color temperature that s variable from 3200 to 5600K to match other light sources, ambient light conditions, or to maximize creative potential. The light has a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96/95 that indicates an accurate rendition of color and offers output consistency and repeatability. Light intensity is variable too, from 10 to 100% without flicker. While you can make these adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them remotely on a console via onboard DMX. Settings are visible on the light s rear LCD screen. The efficient Radius2 consumes just 200W of power, while outputting many times that number and its LEDs are kept cool with a silent, thermally-activated fan, a valuable asset in sound sensitive environments.

Besides flexibility in light intensity, color, and control, the Radius2 also offers power options. The light ships with 100 to 240 VAC power supply for worldwide use but it also has a V-lock plate for optional batteries when mains power is unavailable. The Radius2 will give you 40 minutes run time at full power on a 130Wh battery. A soft, padded carrying case with shoulder strap is provided for storing and transporting the Radius2.

FACTOR lights are ready to go right out of the box. No extra diffusion or accessories are needed to create a strong, diffuse light with no hot spots and a single, soft, clean shadow. A high CRI of 96 indicates an accurate rendition of color.

DMX Control

FACTOR Radius lights feature DMX control compatible with any DMX 512 console. Using a DMX console will allow you adjust color temperature and brightness remotely, as well as offer the ability to create lighting presets to save you valuable time. Color temperature, brightness, DMX channel, and remaining battery power are all shown in real time on the rear LCD display.

Ready for Studio or Location Work of all Kinds

The FACTOR Radius2 draws a maximum of 200W, so you can run it on any household electrical circuit. When used with wall power, the AC adapter is designed to lock into the V-lock battery plate for a secure no-slip connection, keeping the adapter attached to the light unit and out of your way. FACTOR lights remain flicker-free even on battery power thanks to the PWM integrated circuit design.
