GVM Bi-Color Edge Video LED Soft Light (2-Pack)

In short, you will not find another light on the market with this quality. Hands down incredible light for gamers, filmers, YouTubers etc... I bought this light to fill the gaps in my production and making it an easy go-to light for quick setup videos. I personally use GVM lights for almost all my filming and I wanted a small soft light that can attach to my desk for filming in front of my computer screen. This is an incredible light for not only that but traveling for quick setups and also fill/hairline and backlighting. While I do not use the Bi-Color much it is a nice feature to have to be able to fit any lighting scene.

It's a really great light, changes the color temperature, the brightness...everything I need it to do except for one thing..: the app is terrible, Tried several times on different phones. We got it to connect one time only and never to connect again. Terrible reviews on the app are 1 1/2 stars

I am very happy with the performance of this light overall. I can easily mount it nice and sturdy to my desk. Powers ON with the power cable included. I can power the light with 2 x NPF style batteries which is great for my mobile run and gun filming outdoors when needed. I can adjust the colour spectrum from 3200 to 5600 which is easy to control via the GVM App or right at the back of the light. I can also control the brightness with the dual control at the back of the light. Cool feature is I can use this light as a master to control another GVM light as the slave . Adjust the settings to the same channel and pair the lights together as a master and slave. Great feature as I can also control these master and slave lights from my mobile with with the GVM app. Just makes it easy to work with if you are not near the light. The light is nice and soft. I plan to use this light for my YouTube videos along with any live-streaming at my computer desk or any online school sessions with the class and teacher, the light just helps my webcam video quality by adding this nice soft light facing me . Overall I am very happy with the light and my purchase.

I'm a teacher at a museum and when the pandemic hit, all of our work shifted online and suddenly involved live production for a team scattered across the city with no physical tech support or training. As it became clear that ambient lighting was not sufficient for the variety of locations (dining room tables, spare bedrooms, basements, lots of windows, no windows) we were shooting in, lighting became a priority. I ordered and tested many, many options. This was by far the best value, most flexible/adaptable, easy-to-learn, solution that left potential for growth as we gained videography skills. After using them for many months, I'd purchase them again in a heartbeat. Key considerations for us were: Portability/compactness - They're quite compact and robustly built. We've packed them up and moved them hundreds of times. A soft (not harsh) light that we could use for hours at a time. Edge lighting is great. Bare LEDs are exhausting to work under for extended periods. Adaptability - The included stands are great, and floor or table mic stands are cheap. Bi-color was critical as our lighting conditions changed over the course of a day. Physical controls - I didn't see this coming, but with so much of our work life suddenly becoming digital, the ability to just turn a knob to adjust brightness or color temp was a relief for my team. Adding more devices to our networks or plugging them into our computers was just one more thing that could go wrong. A solution that would have a long life as our videography and photography skills increased. We all stared out as novices. As we've gained skills and fluency, these lights are growing with us. In short, they're awesome.

This light is AMAZING! Everything about it is high quality! First off the mounting bracket was very well thought out. It has three holes to adjust for the size of the table or desk you are mounting it to. Then there is the pole. The height of it works perfect for sitting at your desk or table. Next the power cord is long enough that you do not need to run an extension cord to plug it into your our outlet. This light all the way around was very thought out!

I like the size of the light relative to its effectiveness, it is bright and soft and has two source of power, battery and plugged. you can control it with your smartphone and you can have the temperature changed as needed to the environment. overall, solid light, portable, has a bag too, the stand could be better in terms of height and flexibility.
