With the introduction of the Bumble Bee 25-C Open Face Omni-Color LED Light, Hive offers a miniaturized version of the C-line with all the color control features of the full-size fixtures. First of all, at 2.5 with a diameter of 4 it s a really small light and at 1 lb, it s ideal for hanging or for squirreling into tight spaces. With a beam angle of 180 degrees, this version of the light comes without reflectors or modifiers to allow you to choose from dozens of HIVE modifiers, as well as those from Profoto, Elinchrom, Westcott, and Chimera.
Control is the key word in the construction of the 25-C. Hive uses what they call Perfect S.H.O.T controls, which is an umbrella term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of five LED chip blending. Instead of the traditional three colors, Hive uses Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn t stop there. There s 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel as well as 0-100% saturation control. The 25-C can also be dimmed from 0-100%. While of course you can make all of these adjustments manually, you can also make them remotely onboard wired or wireless DMX. There s also a free Hive ANTENNA App that gives you complete control over Hive s Omni-Color LEDs. Quickly pick from billions of colors and effects, using RGB sliders, Preset Sources, HSI controls, and more. Lights can be controlled individually or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities. Access over 100 preset sources, gels, and effects via smartphone or tablet. Thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply, the 25-C is ready for worldwide use, but it will also run on optional batteries when mains power is unavailable

The 25-C has 0-100% saturation adjustment, 360° & hue control, output control from 0-100%, and color temperature control from 1650 to 8000K for nearly infinite combinations for precise color balance.
Color Blending
The 25-C uses red, amber, lime, cyan and sapphire LEDs instead of the traditional three color system to achieve a high CRI/TLCI of 98/97 to render colors faithfully with no output loss or color degradation.
Low Power Draw, Battery or AC Power
The Bumble Bee 25-C uses just 25W to produce light output comparable to a 150W incandescent. Its 2.5 length and multiple mounting points allow for easy rigging to cameras, drones, practicals, stages, and sets. The 25-C can run off an optional external battery or the included 100-240 VAC power adapter.
Control
The 25-C s functions can be controlled manually (locally) or remotely via your smartphone or DMX.
