Neewer GL1C Overview
Made for gaming and live streaming setups, the GL1C RGB LED Light Panel from Neewer is a 15 x 9" RGB panel that also suits various other desktop lighting requirements. The GL1C features Neewer's edge-emitting technology to produce soft, flicker-free lighting that is also comfortable to your eyes. All of the light's adjustments can be made locally on the unit or remotely via app using your smartphone or even a computer. The panel's RGB touch bar allows for quick adjustments at the swipe of your finger so you can pick the color you need.
Desktop Lighting
The panel is a space-saving lighting solution thanks to the included clamp that allows you to mount the panel directly on your desk. The stand is easily adjustable, which allows you to use the GL1C as a key or an overhead light. A 360° rotatable ball head is also supplied to set the panel in any direction.
Soft, Bright Output
This aluminum-made panel has an integrated diffuser that softens its bright 144 LED beads, while producing up to 1075 lux at 3.3'. The light offers a variable color balance of 2900 to 7000K with a high CRI rating of 97 for color accuracy, as well as dimming from 0 to 100%.
RGBWW Light Mixing
Users will enjoy the panel's RGBWW light mixing to get 36,000 colors whose saturation and hue can be tweaked to create a myriad of custom colors. Furthermore, Green/Magenta adjustability is possible for color correction.
17 Effects
The GL1C offers 17 lighting effects to help you achieve different creative looks, including lightning, paparazzi, flickering bulb, explosion, welding, CCT flash, HUE flash, CCT pulse, HUE pulse, cop car, candlelight, HUE loop, CCT loop, INT loop, TV screen, fireworks, and party.
Music Sync
The featured Music setting syncs the light to the music in a dynamic way based on the pitch and volume.
Control Methods
- Control the panel directly from your smartphone via Bluetooth with the Neewer app, which gives you access to the handy Color Picker function and other settings.
- With the brand's included 2.4 GHz USB wireless transmitter, use the Neewer Control Center software on your PC/Mac.
- The panel allows pairing with the optional Elgato Stream Deck platform for remote control.
