The color temperature is 5500K, great for shooting outdoors or in venues with large windows, but you can change the color balance with the two included color-temperature filters when needed.

Dimming is variable, and while you can make adjustments locally on the unit, the YN1200 has a built-in receiver and comes with a wireless remote that can control dimming and on/off functions at distances up to 98 . There s also a free, downloadable App that lets you control the fixture with a smartphone. The light can run on AC power via its adapter or on four separately-purchased NP-F750 (or other) lithium-ion batteries. (See battery compatibility). The fixture is light enough to be held by its included handle too.
