The Photogenic ION Inverter with StudioMax 320W/s Flash Head and Softbox Kit is an ideal way to bring the benefits of studio lighting into the field independent of AC power. The kit includes an ION Inverter System with battery, an AKC320 320W/s AC monolight with reflector, an 8.0` light stand and a 24 x 24" Softbox.

The ION Lithium-ion Pure Sine Wave Inverter System allows you to take your studio strobes on the road or off the road without electricity and without noisy generators or bulky old-style inverters. Weighing in at only 3.5 lb including its battery, the Ion measures only 7.5 x 4.4 x 3.3" but is able to deliver hundreds or even thousands of full power flashes depending on the flash head in use. With a fully charged battery the included AKC320 will get an impressive 1,200 full power flashes with a recycling time of 2.8 seconds. Of course, you can double or triple your capacity by simply purchasing extra batteries which can be charged apart from the inverter. Extra chargers are available to charge more than 1 battery concurrently.

The StudioMax III AKC320 constant color monolight offers a 320W/s output variable over 6.0 stops and a 100W modeling lamp. The AKC320 comes with PL7R High-Gain Reflector and is compatible with the full line of Photogenic flash head accessories.

The AK24 24 x 24" Softbox features a removable front face and internal baffle and comes with a Photogenic speed ring and a carrying case. It accepts optional fabric grids. The kit is rounded out by a sturdy 8.0` light stand. The included Multi-Clamp allows you to hang the inverter on it.

For example, Photogenic`s 1,000W/s PL1000DR gets 300 full power flashes on a fully charged battery while their AKC160 will get a whopping 2,050 flashes from the same battery. Of course, you can double or triple your capacity by simply purchasing extra batteries which can be charged apart from the inverter. Extra chargers are available to charge more than 1 battery concurrently.

Convenience features include a USB port to power computers and other electronic devices and an LED "fuel gauge" that allows you to check on remaining power at a glance. The system includes the ION Inverter, battery, charger, light stand clamp and strap.

Note: flash capacity specs are based on Photogenic flash heads but other brands of flash heads may be used with the inverter. Power input is 100 to 265VAC, 50/60Hz but output is 240V only.

The Photogenic StudioMax III AKC320 constant color monolight offers a full six f/stop power range over 320 watt/seconds. It has internal control to ensure the same Kelvin temperature output, no matter what level of output is chosen.

This light is an excellent choice as a main, secondary, or background light. Since it accepts the entire line of the PowerLight reflectors, grids, snoots, and diffusers, the StudioMax III is a good investment.

This monolight also comes in an AC/DC model, which allows use of the light away from sources of AC power, when a high voltage battery is added.

The 24" Square Softbox and Mounting Ring for Photogenic Studiomax II and III Monolights softens the light output from these fixtures. It has an internal diffusion panel, rods, speed ring for Studiomax heads, and a storage case.

Photogenic Talon TALS8 Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Stand (8`)

The Photogenic Talon TALS8 Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Stand is a combination of design quality and practicality, achieving superior stability and longer service life even under constant, rigorous use.

This is an air-cushioned aluminum stand that rises to a maximum height of 8`. Air cushioning gently lowers the light, preventing damage to both the fixture and fingers when section locks have not been properly tightened.

Optional casters are available for added convenience.

Folds down to a size that is easy to pack into a location case.
