Broncolor Move Outdoor 1-Head Kit 1

The Move Outdoor 1-Head Kit 1 from was put together by Broncolor for photographers who need to take a highly portable, battery-powered system with fast recycling, short flash durations and 9-stop power control on the road. The kit includes a 1200Ws Move 1200 L Battery-Powered Pack, 1 MobiLED Flash Head, a Continuous Light Adapter, Weatherproof Pack Case, and an Outdoor Trolley Backpack. A 2 x 2 soft box is also included.

The Move 1200 L power packs are compatible with Broncolor HS via firmware version 48.07 or later. Broncolor HS, when combined with an optional RFS2.2 transmitter, enables the Move 1200 L to sync at shutter speeds up to 1/8,000s on Canon, Nikon, and Sony camera systems with a flash head on Channel 1. For existing move 1200 L owners, firmware updates are available via an Authorized Broncolor Service Center.

The Broncolor Move 1200 L Battery Power Pack with Lithium Battery and Charger continues to raise the bar that Broncolor itself has set so high as an industry leader. The familiar blue handle and modern design are about all that has remained from previous incarnations. Two outlets distribute 1,200Ws of flash power either symmetrically or asymmetrically over 9.0 full stops and is variable in either 1/10 stop or 1 stop increments. It gets it there fast too, in every photographic sense of the word. Recycling time is a super-fast 0.02 to 0.9 sec (min/max) with action-stopping flash durations of 1/1000 / 1/350 sec (t0.5 /t0.1) at full power and as short as 1/20,000 / 1/8500 at minimum power. That means fleeting gestures and water droplets among other subjects frozen in mid air if desired. It s great for sports and dance in the field as well.

Speaking of the field, the Move is aptly named. At only 13.7 lb it s lighter than its predecessor and uses an Li-FePo4 Lithium battery that gives you up to 230 full power flashes at full power and up to 50,000 pops at minimum power. You can even run the modeling light on your selected head for up to 2.0 hours thanks to the inclusion of a Continuous Light Adapter. You won t wear out this battery anytime soon either: it s rated for 4000 recharge cycles.

The Move clocks in at an ideal 5500K color temperature, maintained by proprietary Enhanced Color Temperature Control technology. With quality like this, tripping over sync cords is just not an option The Move 1200 L s triggering options include optical, IR and radio slaves built into the unit. Made to match up with the A2L power pack, the Broncolor MobiLED Flash Head has a 1,600W/s rating and a unique 30W LED modeling lamp which outputs the equivalent of 100W of tungsten light but at a perfect 5,500K. The head features temperature activated fan cooling to increase the life of the flash tube and modeling light.

By purchasing the optional Continuous Light Adapter, multi-tasking photographers can take advantage of the A2L s Continuous Video Light Mode to use the modeling light on its own for video productions. The head s innovative design allows you to reverse its protective cap and use it as an umbrella reflector. A built in Broncolor bayonet mount enables use of the comprehensive array of Broncolor light shapers and accessories. The MobiLED is compatible with both the A2L and A2R with the modeling light and all orher Bron packs without the LED modeling light functioning.

The head s 30W LED modeling light corresponds approximately to a 100W halogen lamp and is unique on the market in this form. The LED technology promises a longer service life as well as energy conservation for mobile applications. Also the color temperature of 5,500 K (daylight) opens up completely new horizons for the production of video sequences.

Broncolor MobiLed Continuous Light Adapter (CLA)

Great for video-capable DSLRs, the Broncolor MobiLed Continuous Light Adapter (CLA) allows the MobiLed s 30W (100W tungsten equivalent) LED modeling lamp to be used as a continuous 5500K light source independently of the A2L or A2r power pack. Just plug the adapter into the head s outlet cable then into the A2 s charger and plug the charger into an AC source.

The Outdoor Trolley Backpack from Broncolor is specifically designed to carry all camera equipment and accessories.

Broncolor Softbox (2 x 2 )

This Broncolor Softbox is a 2 x 2 light modifier that creates an even, diffuse light. This type of soft light is useful in product and portrait photography. The amount of diffusion can be adjusted via a removable baffle and front panel. Also, it is able to accept grids and other light modification accessories.

Included with this softbox are four rods for constructing and attaching the box to a light via an optional speedring. Also, it comes with the interior baffle, a front diffuser panel, and a transport bag for storage.
