With seven 230W halogen lamps arranged in hexagonal fashion, the PortmanP1 Retro Lamp 1700W Decorative Tungsten Light is sure to create an eye-catching accent on stages and in studios. Each lamp is individually dimmable to take advantage of the unmatched smoothness of tungsten light, making it suitable for both live and recorded applications.

The quality and reliability of tungsten lighting are packed into a contemporary form factor while maintaining a throwback look. At full power, the P1 delivers illumination at a color temperature of 2900K it shifts to an even deeper reddish temperature when dimmed, as is the nature of fixtures utilizing tungsten filament. It spreads its light in a wide beam angle of 94° , though this may change when one individually adjusts each of the seven lamps. The fixture is carried by a large fully rotating yoke for optimized positioning, especially when rigged overhead. For permanent installments or complex lighting setups, the P1's dimmers may be controlled remotely via DMX. Both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR Input/outputs are available, with the option to purchase a separate wireless module for the WDMX function.
