Photogenic Tony Posing Table and Stool

Hmmm.... If you are on the fence, pony up!!!! Photography gear is expensive! lol... Pros 1. It does look quite nice and adds a sophistication to the studio. 2. Reasonably stable. 3. The heights are right for the table and the stool. I shot with a tall person over six feet and he was comfortable in the setup. 4. It supports small and big people comfortably. Cons 1. Although in my heart of hearts the quality is there, I still believe it is extremely overpriced for what it does. I think a mark price for both items is about 99 bucks including the additional cushion. 2. Oh, so why did I buy such an overpriced item? Oh... There were a limited number of competitors who provided this specific product. I read the reviews on a number of products and the issues with the competitors were issues that could not be overcame. 3. Installation... The putting together was really simple and it really should be a pro instead of a con. 4. Installation continued... I bought the extra cushion for the stool which turned out to be an extremely smart idea. The table is not truly sturdy. It has a slight wobble to it, but for my purposes, it is adequate. I love the rollers/casters on the table. I go back and forth on if it is pro or con for if the stool should have had casters. Soooo... if you are in the market, you should pony up and get this item. It is functional and does what it says and I feel like the overall experience of pros outweighs the cons. It is just the price... I think they know they are the only game in town and they priced it as such.... Happy shopping....

These would have been great structurally, I suppose, but the posing table's lock didn't work. When I tested it out and leaned on it, not putting much pressure on it at all, the table began to fall no matter how tight i tightened the knob. The chair handle that lifts and lowers the chair was rickety and possibly broken. It was frustrating to use. I thought this brand would be a step up from cheaper brands, but I was disappointed.

Both the stool and the table were just what I needed and I am happy with the purchase. You would think that Photogenic could put a little note in the box saying that the little red grommet thing under the chair is supposed to be crunched up like that and you shouldn't worry about that. I do like both items very much. Adjustable height of table and stool works well for portraits.

I do not know if it is me, or the product. I have seen similiar tables an they were sturdy all around the sides, yet this one moves on all 3 sides? Are the side boards supposed to move, or is it broken and I just don't have anything to compare it too?
