Kaiser FilmCopy Vario
The FilmCopy Vario from Kaiser is a holding device for the exact positioning of slides and negatives during digitization. Position the unit on top of a light box or other source of illumination and position a camera over it. It is suitable for mounted 35mm slides, film strips, and unframed single slides and negatives. Transparency film, black& white film, and color negative film from 35mm up to 6 x 9cm may be used. It includes inserts for mounted 35mm slides and 24 x 36mm format masks and features guide ridges for 35mm film strips. Optional easy-to-change inserts are available for 4.5 x 6, 6 x 6, 6 x 7, and 6 x 9cm film formats, and also 24 x 66mm panoramic film formats. The FilmCopy Vario base has adjustable stop pins for different film widths plus four adjustable masking strips. It includes an 8 x 10 overlay mat to shield stray light from entering the camera lens.
