The included 4 x 5" Light Source Basic MK2 is an ultra-bright light source that is between 2-4 stops brighter than the previous generation s 4 x 5" Light Source Basic. The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 utilizes a double S-curve method of keeping film flat, and it comes with medium format masks ranging from 6 x 4.5" to 6 x 9" and interchangeable inserts for future expandability.

The Basic Riser MK3 from Negative Supply offers added height, rigidity, and a more solid baseboard to work with a wider range of camera/lens combinations and to provide a more stable, rigid workflow than its predecessor. Designed to support nearly all popular camera and macro lens combinations, the Basic Riser MK3 is a capable copy stand for nearly any user. With a maximum riser height of 23" , the Basic Riser MK3 is capable of scanning up to 4 x 5" film with up to a 70mm full-frame equivalent focal length, 120 film with over a 100mm full-frame equivalent focal length, and 35mm film with nearly any macro lens.

You can use it to scan negatives or transparencies in a single image capture. It can also be used to scan panoramic 120 film by stitching two or more exposures. With a universal mounting point via the optional Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 Stabilizing Mask, this carrier can be quickly and easily added to a wide range of Negative Supply light sources and other products for a more stable workflow. It also eliminates extraneous light from negatively impacting your film scanning. This 120 film carrier requires no additional hardware or tools to swap film cassettes.
