Negative Supply EKIT45 Overview
The from Negative Supply is the alternative to the Pro Kit for 35mm, 120, and 4 x 5" Scanning, bringing professional features and performance for scanning 35mm up to 4 x 5" film to beginning film enthusiasts. The included Basic Riser XL is taller and more stable than the Basic Riser MK3. The included 4 x 5" Light Source Basic MK2 is an ultra-bright light source that is between 2-3 stops brighter than the previous generation 4 x 5" Light Source Basic. Both the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 s cassette designs feature double s-curve methods for keeping film flat, and their interchangeable inserts offer the added capability of scanning other formats and full-border scanning. The Basic Mounted Slide Scanning Kit is adjustable for both modern and vintage slides, and the Basic 4 x 5" Sheet Film Scanning Kit mates perfectly to the 4 x 5" Light Source Basic MK2 to make large format scanning or single negative scanning much easier than in the past.
Negative Supply Basic Riser XL
With a maximum riser height of 26" , the Basic Riser XL from Negative Supply is capable of scanning 4 x 5" film with up to 90mm full-frame-equivalent focal lengths, 120 film with over 100mm full-frame-equivalent focal lengths, and 35mm film with nearly any popular macro lens. It s designed to support professional DSLR systems, such as the Canon 1DX and Nikon D5, large mirrorless cameras such as the Leica SL, Canon EOS R3 and Nikon Z9, and anything smaller. It will even support most digital medium format systems. The head is similar to what you ll find on the Pro Riser MK3 with a secure-mounting system that uses a T-handle to securely mount your camera. There is a window on the side of the head that gives easy access to the 1/4" -20 mounting point and a locking knob on the back of the head to keep it at the height you set. The central column is anodized and quickly attaches to the black powder-coated, solid steel base with stainless steel hardware.

The Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 from Negative Supply makes it easy to scan your rolls of film quickly at home with the use of a DSLR or mirrorless camera when coupled with other Negative Supply products. Thanks to its shared parts with the Pro Film Carrier 35, this carrier keeps your film perfectly flat while reducing drift and allows you to produce high-quality scans of an entire roll in less than two minutes. It can be used with either full rolls or cut strips of film, and the included film masks enable you to scan film of several different sizes.

The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 from Negative Supply keeps your film flat for scanning and can be used for 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 6x9cm formats. You can use it to scan negatives or transparencies in a single image capture. It can also be used to scan panoramic 120 film by stitching two or more exposures. With a universal mounting point via the optional Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 Stabilizing Mask, this carrier can be quickly and easily added to a wide range of Negative Supply light sources and other products for a more stable workflow. It also eliminates extraneous light from negatively impacting your film scanning. This 120 film carrier requires no additional hardware or tools to swap film cassettes.
