Smith-Victor TST24 24" Shooting Table Kit with Floor Stand and Two LED Light Softboxes

I am very unhappy and disappointed with this photo table set and here is exactly why: 1. It is INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to assemble. The cartoon-like assembly instructions are just a cheap one-sheet piece of paper, folded, with small line drawings and they do not make sense. I am a professional tech guy with tons of experience building and assembling things, and this was insanely difficult to figure out. It took me 3.5 hours to put together. The instructions are inaccurate and misleading. 2. One of the struts had not been manufactured correctly. A drill hole was missing so it actually was impossible to assemble as shown. I had to clamp two of the struts together and, as a result, it does not sit properly. 3. The table is MUCH TOO LOW! We are not 6-year-old-children! An average-sized adult will have to hunch way over the table to take photos. If I am going to use this regularly, I will have to build a base to lift it up higher. What a stupid annoyance and extra work for me! It would have been very easy for the company to add an extra foot or two in height to the struts. It is so low, it feels like a toy or a child's table. I expect a heck of a lot more quality and care in manufacture and documentation when I'm spending €650 on equipment. That being said, despite all the serious shortcomings, the table itself does result in decent studio photos and the softboxes are adequate -- hence two stars and not just one. I would have definitely have RETURNED this table to as unsatisfactory, but I missed the return window. If you are looking for a photo table, find a better quality one that is designed for adults. This one is not worth your money.
